Our Mission is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We aim to be faithful witnesses “in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
Our goal is to see our District—including all PAC churches—actively participating with the General Council in:
Our mission will always be about souls. Let us unite in prayer, support, giving, and going—both to USA Missions and World Missions. If you’d like to support a missionary or help organize a short-term mission trip, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
We believe that sustainable growth in the Kingdom rests on the planting of healthy churches. The Spirit-reliant church flourishes as it depends on the Spirit to empower its work among its local context. These indigenous churches are self-supporting, self-propagating, and self-governing. Our goal is national church movements that plant churches and send cross-cultural workers.
Assemblies of God World Missions trains spiritual leaders to serve effectively as pastors, evangelists, teachers, and missionaries. Following the discipleship patterns of Jesus Christ and the early church, we train local leaders to undertake the Great Commission. Historically, AGWM has focused on training to ensure that the ongoing work of establishing the Church advances as local leaders train, equip, and resource believers for effective ministry in their own communities.
We partner with local believers and churches to serve poor and suffering people with the compassion of Christ and invite them to become His followers. Assemblies of God missionaries, national churches, and compassion ministries serve people’s physical needs. We believe the words of Jesus: “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?” Yet Jesus also commanded us not to ignore the suffering of others. We integrate compassion ministry into sharing the gospel and establishing the Church.
The mission of AGWM is to establish the Church among all peoples everywhere by reaching the lost, planting churches, training believers and leaders, and serving communities in need. AGWM partners with missionaries and local churches to ensure that every person has access to the gospel and that strong, Spirit-empowered churches are built in every nation.

AGWM’s missional strategy is centered on establishing the Church among all peoples everywhere. We accomplish this through four interconnected ministry actions: Reaching, Planting, Training, and Serving.
Reaching – Sharing the message of Jesus Christ with those who have not yet heard.
Planting – Establishing new Spirit-empowered churches that become centers of light and community.
Training – Equipping believers and leaders to disciple others and build healthy churches.
Serving – Meeting physical, emotional, and spiritual needs to demonstrate Christ’s love in action.
These four elements are woven together in the work of AGWM’s global teams and partners—so that all people may hear the hope of the gospel.
You can find missionaries easily through the Find a Missionary tool on the AGWM website.
