2025 Refresh Retreat
The Hawaii District Assemblies of God hosted the Refresh Retreat on October 14–16, 2025, at Sure Foundation Church in Keaau. Ministers, spouses, and leaders gathered for renewal, rest, and encouragement. Guest speakers Phillip and Destiny Deas inspired attendees with practical wisdom, spiritual insight, and a fresh call to ministry.

This year’s 2024 Ministers & Leaders Refresh Retreat in Hilo was truly incredible! We gathered with 77 pastors and 113 leaders from across our Hawaii AG Ohana, creating a powerful time of connection and renewal. Heartfelt thanks to Sure Foundation Church for hosting this impactful event and to the Big Island pastors for their invaluable support. A special appreciation goes to Pastor Jack and Carol Hanes from Imagine Nations Church in Penrith, Australia, who traveled all the way to be with us to share profound insights our pastors and leaders needed to hear. This annual Refresh Retreat is an unforgettable event that ministers and leaders shouldn’t miss—it’s a time to create meaningful memories and build lasting fellowship! Can’t wait till next year!
360 Man Summit
From 2024 July 19 to 21, the FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD hosted the impactful 360 Man Summit, featuring guest speaker Dan Kersten, Director of Development and Communications for AG Men’s Ministries. Around 200 men gathered for this transformative event, engaging in powerful worship, inspiring sessions, and meaningful fellowship. Dan Kersten’s insightful messages inspired attendees to deepen their faith and strengthen their commitment to living out God’s purpose in their lives. The summit was a remarkable time of growth, connection, and spiritual renewal.

Pow Wow 2023
This year’s pow wow was a huge success, with a total of 34 boys and 18 commanders/leaders in attendance. The worship was led by Pastor Kalani from Teen Challenge and Pastor Lokahi from Paradise Chapel Maile, and it was truly an awe-inspiring experience for everyone present.
In an effort to make this year’s pow wow even more special, we decided to add a 6′ rock wall and Archery Tag to the lineup of activities. The boys absolutely loved these new additions, and it was amazing to see how much fun they were having. We also had a number of other events planned, including BB gum, Archery, Ax & knife throwing, an Obstacle course, and a craft building a tool box that every boy took home.
